We are ready to go to the Philippines again! April 1-12 covers the time of the Philippine Asian Relief and Medical Services Mission. Emily, (my daughter)s and I are hoping to be a part of this mission this year. Last year at Kalibo, Philippines, we had a marvelous mission. The medical and dental team treated thousands of people. I took part in the prayer team that was able to minister to many people. I built a page that tells of this trip here.
I am going to take part in the Asian Relief and Medical Mission, ARMS. We are going to the Philippines with a team of doctors and dentists to serve the Philippino people in areas where medical services are needed. We also take a team of evangelist and prayer warriors.
Last year as a team we registered 4,746 people. Of this registration, 3,657 were medically treated, 1,059 were dentally treated. We prayed for 1,576 people of which 559 were miraculously healed of a wide variety of problems. There were 3,923 people who came to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The rate of decisions was 83 percent, which is incredible.

My daughters Emily, Sarah and I are going to the Philippine trip as short term missionaries reaching out to others for our Lord and Savior. Sarah is a military Medical doctor and is take leave to take part in this mission. Emily is taking a vacation from her dog grooming service. I am taking two weeks vacation from work to take part in this. We are excited to serve.
The cost of the mission is around $1,000 each. Airfare is close to $1,000. I am hoping to take two suitcases with us full of medical supplies. This is an unknown cost which is contingent upon raising basic mission cost and airfare. For Sarah, Emily and I, we are looking at an out of pocket expense of $6,000.00 to take part in this mission. Medical supplies will be extra.

Update December 11, 2018.
I purchased plane fare today. We will be flying Asiana, with a long layover in Seoul in both directions. This enabled me to get a cheaper fare, just under $1,800 for Emily and I. Sarah’s fare was a bit more since she is flying further it was close to $1,400.
If you want to join me with financial support, follow the link at the bottom of the page to donate. Any excess funds that are received which are not spent on expenses and medical supplies will be donated to ARMS.
